about

ODIO-HIME consists of one girl, but many girl within that one girl.

we are an entity unto ourself, consisting of a multitude of madlad maidens, entwined in the cosmic dance of attempting to just live our lives. there are at least 13 of us in this body, with who knows how many more depending on how my brain handles my trauma.

the main crew here consists of:

  • Nora (she/her; the "PR person" of us, the most sociable and self-confident/arrogant),
  • Maria (she/her; shy gal, chill gal, sad gal, ill gal), and
  • Riley (fae/faer/fem; the cutie patootie, also known in legendary lore as the Flannel Fairy).

there's more of us, but y'all don't need to know 'em if you don't know us personally.

we've been making music since age 15 at least, and we've only been getting better and better with each passing day. originally starting out with a lot of acoustic pop-rock, and eventually getting into the field of providing music for internet content creators, we now mostly focus our efforts on electronic music. this is the genesis of Odio-hime.

so

how did Odio-hime manifest into this world?

one day in the year 2021, i decided for the first time in my life to expand my mind via the powerful magic of psychedelics. during this trip, i made the decision to listen to the music of SOPHIE for the first time.

this particular combination rewired my brain, rewrote my software, and changed me completely.

i was reborn that day. my life path was forever altered, and i became the digital mess of a glitchgirl that you see (sort of) before you now. SOPHIE's music inspired me to work extra hard at honing my craft to maybe one day come close to the level that she was on. that was my rationale at first, at the very least. today i've truly come into my own as an artist, developing my own distinct style that i like to refer to as Fractal Pop (also the name of my unofficial vanity label), in addition to being pretty versatile and flexible in whatever genre i attempt. still tho, my specialty truly is in hypnotic grooves to mesmerize the soul and move the listener to their very core.

we really hope you enjoy whatever we put out. people have been giving us a lot of positive feedback over the past couple years, and it's been extremely encouraging. we truly never expected anyone to be as into our stuff as people seem to be now. thru putting out this music and making the connections i have in my journey to get it out there, we've finally found a true sense of community and cameraderie among some cool, likeminded folx. my only wish is that we can truly get our stuff heard on a much wider scale, so we can have the financial stability + safety that everyone deserves and to be able to have the means to help others as much as i'd love to do.

keep it cool y'allπŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
